Our office conveniently sees patient 2 nights/week on Tuesday and Thursday nights. No appointment necessary to select eyewear or to pickup glasses or contact lenses. We are three blocks from the 86th station of the R train and 2 blocks from municipal parking. Our commitment is not just in meeting your expectations, but in exceeding them!

This office was set up in August of 1971 by the founding optometrist, Doctor William Ernstein. In 1991 Doctor Morris Lehrfeld, optometrist, joined the practice specializing in pediatrics and contact lenses. Then, in 1992 Doctor Mark Rosanova, ophthalmologist, joined our practice to consult with our patients regarding surgical treatment of eye disease and cataract surgery.

Machine vision filters are used to increase the contrast of the subject a camera is viewing, improving its capability to distinguish desired characteristics. Increased contrast enables for increased accuracy and speed. Filters are selected by matching a filter type to the lighting being used and a filter size to the diameter of the camera lens.
